Raised in Gastonia, Jamie went to Ashbrook High School and graduated at the top of his class at The Hairstyling Institute of Charlotte. Having spent many successful years in the beverage industry, Jamie decided to take his love for customer service in a new direction by becoming a barber. Originally serving the Lake Wylie community, he went on to expand to the Charlotte market at City Barbers Uptown growing his clientele and skill set. Along with building long lasting customer relationships, Jamie’s passions include his family and music ministry. He serves as Worship Pastor at his home church in Gaston County. Jamie is a loving husband and father to 3 amazing children. His faith and love for his family are the driving forces behind everything he does. He decided to bring his vision of owning his own shop some day to life with The Mercantile Barber Co. and knew there was no better place to make that happen than in the beautiful town of Belmont, NC!
